Everyone desires to be Loved. Why is that? Because LOVE comes from God, and Everyone that Loves is Born of God and Knows God. Everyone that does Not Love, Does Not KNOW God for God is Love. 1 John 4:7,8.
Let’s look at that again, EVERYONE that LOVES, is Born of God; (Born of His Spirit) and Knows God, and Everyone that does Not Love, Does Not Know God, for GOD IS LOVE.
Ephesians 5:25 says, Husbands, LOVE your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her,
Now, let’s put these two verses together, (Paraphrasing)—Every Husband that LOVES HIS WIFE is Born of God and Knows God, But those that do Not LOVE, Do Not Know God, For God is LOVE.
1 Peter 3:7, gives us more insight as to HOW a Husband can apply the above verses, “In the same way, you Husbands must give honor to your wives. Treat your wife with understanding as you live together. She may be more delicate than you are, but she is your EQUAL partner in God’s gift of new life. Treat her as you should so your prayers will not be hindered.”
Whether in marriage or other relationships, the Word of God teaches us to “Put on Love, which binds us TOGETHER in Perfect Harmony.” Colossians 3:14. God also says, “Be Perfect Even As Your Father in Heaven In Perfect.”
Knowing that we are Created in the Image of God, in His Likeness, Born of His Spirit, Helps us to understand that we can All walk in Love with one another.
Love also helps us to triumph over the devil in our relationships. How so? Overcome Evil with Good. Romans 12:21
14 For this reason I kneel before the Father,15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
Prayer: Speaking His Word regarding Love, over your Life, over your Marriage, over the lives of your Family and loved ones casts the devil out! Why? Because the enemy, is the one who works overtime trying to influence us, by getting us to live in a cesspool of bitterness, hurt and pain. Obeying God and Loving one another frees us from that pain.
This is what is called the GOOD NEWS! (the Gospel means Good News!) We’ve been Redeemed; Delivered from the power of darkness, and translated into the Kingdom of His dear Son. If you are a follower of Jesus, and obey Him, you are No longer a slave to sin; a slave of what the Bible calls the “old man” which means the old sin nature.
Before you were, as Jesus says, “Born again” (born of God’s Spirit) you could not Love as He Loves, Because LOVE is a fruit of the Spirit. Love expressed through you,. is proof that God Lives in You. In John 14:23, Jesus replied, “Anyone who LOVES me will obey my teaching. My Father will LOVE them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”

1 Corinthians 13:2, If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have Love, I am nothing.
Let us Remember: Those of us who choose to Love are Born of God and Know God.
These three Remain, Faith, Hope and LOVE, and the GREATEST of these is LOVE. 1 Corinthians 13:13
