“The Voice” Winner: Javier Colon

“The Voice” announced the winner of  it’s first season Wednesday, June 29th, 2011. Javier Colon coached by Adam Levine from Maroon 5 has been awarded a record deal and $100,000.00.  Both he and Dia Frampton coached by Blake Shelton stood side-by-side anticipating who would be the winner of  “The Voice”.  It was announced that the votes for each performer were very close.

Dia Frampton a 23-year-old singer, songwriter from St. George, Utah performed a beautiful duet “The House That Built Me” with 2010 ACM winner Miranda Lambert who is married to Blake Shelton.

Some believe that the winner would have been between Beverly McClellan and Javier.  Beverly coached by Christina Aguilera is a soulful Rock singer and before her debut on “The Voice” released her own independent albums. Vicci Martinez who is considered a bluesy soul singer from Tacoma, Washington was picked and coached by Cee Lo throughout the competition.
