Jesus The Healer

Pray ye one for another that You May be HEALED…In his message—Healing Belongs to Us, Kenneth E. Hagin asked this question: “Would God ask you to pray for something if it wasn’t His will? Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of Faith shall save (Heal) the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and Pray one for another, that you may be Healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:13-16.”

According to this context of verses, we see plainly that it IS God’s will to Heal—All. Look at that verse again, “Is ANY sick among you…” (excluding no one) and “…pray one for another that YOU may be Healed.” (Remember the prayer of Faith is Key here: See Mark 11:23-26 KJV) In Acts 10:38, we see Jesus, sent by God to Heal (He sent His Word and Healed them) was anointed by God with Power and with the Holy Ghost who went about doing Good and Healing ALL, that were oppressed of the Devil, for God was with Him. Look at that, God was With Jesus as He Healed all the sick—More proof that it Is God’s will to Heal. Numbers 23 says, God is not a man that he should lie neither the son of man that he should repent, hath He said and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken and shall he not make it good?

Jesus said, If you’ve seen Me, you’ve seen the Father. John 14:9. He also said, I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. John 9:4. When we see Jesus Heal all the sick, we see Him carrying out the Will of the Father: Healing all!

Healing is in the plan of Redemption just as Forgiveness of sin. Physical Healing and forgiveness of sin are all a part of Gods redemption plan. Matthew 8:17, That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself (Jesus) took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. 1 Peter 2:24, Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Isaiah 53:4,5.

Isaiah 53:4,5 – Dr. Isaac Leeser (December 12, 1806 – February 1, 1868) was an American, Ashkenazi Jewish religious leader, teacher, scholar and publisher.[1] He helped found the Jewish press of America, produced the first Jewish translation of the Bible into English, and helped organize various social and educational organizations. He is considered one of the most important nineteenth century American Jewish personalities. He was “fiercely opposed” to Reform Judaism[2] and was regarded as one of the most important “orthodox” rabbis of his era. Leeser is regarded as a forerunner by both Modern Orthodox Judaism and Conservative Judaism. Dr. Leeser’s Hebrew translation of was the only translation accepted by the Orthodox Jewish Church. Therefore it is correct according to the Hebrew. He translates these verses Isaiah 53:4,5–“He was despised and shunned by men. A man of pains and acquainted with disease, but only our diseases he bare them and our pains He carried, and through his bruises was healing granted to us, V10, but the Lord has pleased to crush Him through disease.”

Hagin also said, “The cause of all sickness and disease was laid upon Him (Jesus), just as the sin of mankind was laid upon Him. Thank God for the two fold Redemption.”

There are many verses in the Old and New Testaments that point to the truths of physical healing and that it is always God’s will to heal. It’s important to remember that Jesus was not only the Son of God but also God in the flesh. He said, If you’ve seen Me, you’ve seen the Father. And when we look at His life and ministry on earth we see Him healing “all” and never said it wasn’t Gods will to heal; he never turned anyone away that came to Him. If you or someone in your family is in need of Healing, begin to put your Faith in Jesus and the Father and be assured that His Word is truth and that He does not lie. Jesus says in John 14, Whatsoever YOU ask the Father in My Name I will do it that the Father will be Glorified in the Son, ask Anything in My Name I will do it.

Ask, and stay in Faith. Speak God’s Word out loud over your body, symptoms have to obey the Name of Jesus: “Behold I give you power (Authority) to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19.
