Recently during prayer, I had the idea to conduct a search regarding “support groups for parents whose adult children have become polygamists”—and in my search, I came across two wonderful groups; two charitable organizations, founded by Women who fled from the evil and dangers of polygamy and polygamous communities, and how they help Many Women (and their children) from these polygamist communities (cults) as they leave and take their children to Safety, Freedom, and a New Life by providing Free Housing, food, clothing, including all the resources and support that they need to live an independent life no longer under the bondage of polygamy, and protecting their children from the…

Children and Polygamy – How it Effects Them
The Harmful Effects of Polygamy on Children: During a study with 352 participants: 174 from monogamous families and 178 from polygamous families, divided by gender and family status, with ages ranging from 13 t0 15 years, found that, “Adolescents from the polygamous families had serious academic issues. For example, we see from Table 4.5 that more than one-quarter, 27 %, of the adolescents from polygamous families expected not to finish high school compared to 16 % of those from monogamous families.
