Jesus said, Daughter YOUR Faith has Healed You
Jesus taught that Faith has the Power to Transform your life. Every time He spoke, circumstances changed. He taught that we have this Faith; Faith that moves Mountains. In Mark chapter 11, verses 20-26, Jesus teaches plainly that we; the body of Christ have the Faith of God, and that when we believe with our heart (spirit) and speak with our Mouth, we change this natural realm, and He did it by Speaking to a Fig tree! Have you ever spoken to a fig tree before? Jesus did, and what He spoke happened, instantly, by it’s roots, so that when they came to that fig tree the following morning, it was completely dead, never to bare fruit again, just as He said.
Some may think, “Well, that’s Jesus” Yes, true but in this context over verses (and many others) He said to His Disciples of His time and to His people today, “Have Faith in God…” let’s stop here for a moment, what Jesus is saying here is we “Have” the “Faith of God.” How do I know? Paul speaking by the Holy Spirit said, (and He learned this from Jesus) in 2 Corinthians 4:13, “And WE having the Same Spirit of Faith, as it is written (Paul is getting ready to quote David in Psalm 116:10) I Believed, therefore have I SPOKEN, (Paul continues) WE ALSO BELIEVE and THEREFORE SPEAK.”
Faith Believes with the Heart and Faith Speaks. I like what Brother Kenneth E. Hagin said in a teaching, “Believe with your heart and Believe with your words.
We also see this Faith that Believes and Speaks in action with the woman who had a blood disease for 12 years, the scriptures tell us in Mark chapter 5 that she spent all she had on Doctors, but grew worse, until she heard about Jesus, “When Jesus had again crossed over by the boat to the other side of the lake, a large crowd gathered around him while he was by the lake. Then one of the synagogue leaders, named Jairus, came, and when he saw Jesus he fell at his feet. He pleaded earnestly with him, “my daughter is dying. Please come and put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live. So Jesus went with him.
A large crowd followed and pressed around him. And a Woman was there ho had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. she has suffered a grea deal uner the care of many doctors and has spent All she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. WHEN SHE HEARD ABOUT JESUS, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she said, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.” Immediately her bleeding stopped, and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.” (Notice: Her Faith in Jesus Believed with her Heart, and SPOKE her Faith, and what she spoke HAPPENED, just as She believed)
At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?” “You see the crowds of people around you…and yet you ask “Who touched me?” But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it. (Keep in mind, Many were most likely touching him) Then the Woman knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and, trembling with fear, told him the whole truth. He said to her, “Daughter, YOUR FAITH has Healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.” Look at that, Jesus said, “YOUR Faith has Healed you” He did NOT say it was His faith, He made a point to say, “YOUR FAITH…”
What was her Faith, How did she exercise Her Faith? #1 She believed and #2 She SPOKE; she Declared her Faith that when she touched she would be Healed.
We see this Principle of Faith in Romans 10:8-10 that says, “With the Heart (spirit) a person believes and with the MOUTH, CONFESSION (Speaking) is made unto Salvation.”
This Spirit of Faith is How God functions and we see this in Genesis chapter one, for He SAID, “Let there Be Light” and Light came. Again Jesus lived this Faith (See the story of the Centurion’s Faith, Matthew 8:5-13, where Jesus said to him, “I have not see such Great FAITH, no not in Israel…”) and Jesus teaches this Faith in Mark 11:20-26 and Matthew 17:20, “…for verily (Truly) I Say unto you, IF YOU HAVE FAITH as a grain of mustard see, YOU WILL SAY to this Mountain, Move from here to there, and it WILL move, and NOTHING will be impossible unto You.”
At Believer’s Faith Church, Pastor Nina and her husband Pastor Rick teach the Word of Faith (Romans 10) to help the Believer learn what it means to “Live by Faith.” (Romans 1:17, Galatians 3:11, Hebrews 10:38) There is a Faith that Believes in Jesus, and there is Faith that Believes and Speaks, this is how we Overcome, “And this is the Victory that Overcomes the world (Satan is the god of this world, 2 Corinthians 4:4) OUT FAITH.” 1 John 5:4.
