War Against Women
Over the years I have been in pursuit to find out why there has been so much persecution against Women in the world, church and marriage, and just at few years ago I began to learn and gain understanding which has led me to write this article to help All Women, who are just as Equal as men, and during my ongoing research, I have found that these evils against women all began in Genesis chapter 3, and is also described in Revelation chapter 12.
To find the source of such evil, including the Epstein files, and the sexual crimes against women and children, we are going to take a close look at the Genesis account; and how God made Everything “Good” beginning with Genesis 1:26, and that how after the fall (sin) of humankind (their disobedience to God) Satan became the “god of this world,” 2 Corinthians 4:4, and how God described that there would be a war/enmity between Satan and the woman, found in Genesis 3:15, where God describes what would happen because of what Satan did, “And I will put enmity (war) between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he will crush your head (work of Jesus on the Cross in destroying the works of the devil) and you will strike his heel. “
Allow me to ask a question: Where does Evil behavior come from? When we look at the Genesis account, we see that before the sin of Adam and Eve, everything was wonderful, we see in Genesis chapter one and verse 26, that God made human beings, now pay close attention to this verse as you will see that we, God’s sons and daughters have been created in the “image of God” and have been created Equal, you will also see that we, both male and female, have been Given God’s Authority, “Then God said, ‘Let us make mankind (human beings) in Our Image, in Our Likeness, so that they (together) may Rule over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, over the livestock, and over All the creatures that move along the ground...And God Blessed them and said to them (to Both of them, Equality) “Be Fruitful, and increase in number, fill the earth and subdue it. RULE OVER (not over one another, pay close attention to who they/we Rule over) the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, and over Every living creature that moves on the ground.” Genesis 1:26-28, (remember, the Serpent who is Satan, comes in the garden, and God gave Both Adam and the Woman Authority/Rule over him.)
Now let’s take a look at what God said to Adam, beginning in Genesis 2:15, “The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. V16, And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from Any tree in the garden; V17, but you must NOT eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it, you will certainly die.” Let me make this point: Had Adam obeyed God’s command, had He guarded the Garden as God gave him and Eve His Authority to do so, (once she was created) had they Both obeyed God and not allowed the serpent who is Satan, to deceive them, and trick them into eating the fruit, by lying to them saying, “You will not die” there would be NO evil in the earth, they would not have handed the Authority God gave them over to Satan, who is the devil, there would be no evil because of sin, in the earth. This is the whole purpose why God came in the person of His Son, Jesus to Destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8), and this is why Jesus tells us in Luke 10:19 that we have been given Authority once again over the devil and his demons, “Behold I give You Power (Authority) to tread on serpents and scorpions (these are types of the devil and his demons) and over ALL the power of the Enemy, and Nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
But, since Satan is still here, the scriptures tell us, he is, “the god of this world” He is the author of sin, sickness, disease, all evil, including the sinful nature of humans who also get tricked and deceived just as Adam and Eve were, which is why we are told in Ephesians chapter 6, to “Put on the Whole Armor of God” so that we can overcome the “tricks/schemes of the devil.” Ephesians 6:11.
This evil and wickedness that is from the devil (men drawn away of their own lusts and enticed, just like Adam and Eve were, they lusted after the tree that God commanded them not to eat – and this same “lust of the flesh” is present today, and many succumb to it by taking their eyes and focus OFF of Jesus and the God’s commands, and onto their own flesh desires) this is why many Women over the decades have been sexually abused, including children, physically abused, and psychologically and emotionally abused, All of this evil is Not from God, only Good comes from God, there is No evil in God, “When tempted, No One should say, “God is tempting me.” for God Cannot be tempted by evil, Nor does he tempt anyone.” James 1:13, but a “Man/human being, is drawn away of his/her Own lust and enticed.”
So, again, Why are their evil, sexually abusive crimes against Women/children? When God spoke to the Serpent in Genesis 3:15, he told the Serpent, who is Satan, that there would be a War against the Woman (see Revelation 12). We know that in this particular verse God is referring to the Woman who was to carry Jesus the Son of God in her womb and give Birth to the Savior, Jesus Christ, who would as God said, “He, (Jesus) will crush his head” that’s Jesus destroying the works of the devil, Satan, through His death, burial and Resurrection” and in my opinion, and what I believe the Lord revealed to me, based on the verses above, and what God described to Eve, that because of her sin; the Result of her sin, that “he will Rule over you” was Not a command of God, Not a prescription from God, but was God “describing” what would happen because of hers and Adams sin. And when you look over the Generations, Historical accounts in the Bible and Historically in the world as we know it today, Satan has definitely been at work tempting mankind including sexual crimes against Women. This was, and never will be the design of God, these are men/males, in Disobedience to God and His Command to Love One Another “As I have Loved you,” and not only do we see such cruelty in the world, this war against women, and men thinking they have a right to harm others, including women and children, are also at work in many denominations, when the Scriptures tell us “LOVE BRINGS NO HARM TO HIS NEIGHBOR, therefore LOVE is the FULFILLMENT of the LAW” Romans 13:10, What Law? The LAW OF CHRIST, THE ROYAL LAW OF LOVE. James 2:8,“If you fulfill the Royal Law according to the scripture, “You shall Love your neighbor as Yourself, You do well.” Galatians 5:14, “For the Entire law is Fulfilled in Keeping this One Command: “Love Your Neighbor as Yourself.”
This Royal Law of Love also applies to Marriage: Husbands are Commanded of God to “Love your Wife AS Christ Loved the Church and Gave Himself for Her.” Ephesians 5:25. We also see this is 1 Peter 3:7, Peter had a wife, and he understood this command, and says, by the Holy
Spirit, “In the Same way, Your Husbands MUST give Honor (Value, Love, Cherish as Precious) to your wives. Treat Your Wife with understanding as you live Together. She may be more delicate than you, BUT SHE IS YOUR EQUAL PARTNER in God’s Gift of New Life. TREAT HER AS YOU SHOULD so YOUR PRAYERS WILL NOT BE HINDERED.”
We see this Example of Love for Women in Jesus Life, Jesus Loved his daughters, He stuck up for them as the woman who washed his feet with expensive perfumed oil, (preparation for burial is how Jesus described it) and Judas who was a thief, who stole from the bag where they gave to the poor, spoke Harshly to her saying, “That should have been sold and given to the poor…” and Jesus Immediately reprimanded him saying, “LEAVE HER ALONE.” John 12:7.
There is nowhere in scripture where God nor Jesus differentiate between men and women, the scriptures say that God is not a respecter of persons, and in Galatians 3:28 says, “There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there Male or Female, for YOU ARE ALL ONE IN CHRIST JESUS.” Jesus sent a WOMAN who was the first to “Go Tell the Others” of His Resurrection, (she was the First to be sent on the Great Commission) and when she did, they did Not believe her, and when Jesus appeared to them, He reprimanded them for Not believing His messenger Mary and the other women who were with her. He corrected the others because of their unbelief.
There are Many accounts in the Bible, both in OT and NT, where God used many Women to Fulfill His calling in the earth. We see that Paul commends Many Women for their Ministry; for their “hard work in the Lord” in Romans 16, beginning with Phoebe, a Minister in the church which is at Cenchrea. To learn more about Women in the Bible see my other articles, including, “All One in Christ Jesus”
In closing: This evil behavior is not only in the World where many men try to dominate women, we also see this in the church, see my article, “Scandals in the Church and How to Eliminate Them.” My encouragement to Women is to Speak Up! Don’t allow any men, including those in marriages, to Rule over you, don’t permit it. To learn more, read my other articles, where I teach in depth regarding Women in the Bible, and Women of God today, and our Equality in Life and in the Church. God Loves You, God Loves and Cares for His Daughters! You are made Equal, and No One has a right to abuse nor manipulate you in any way, not in the work force, not in your marriage, not in the church, not anywhere!
Male and Female – God’s Original Design
A Christianity rooted in patriarchy will always define women first and foremost by their relationship to men.
A Christianity rooted in the gospel of Jesus will see women first and foremost as human beings created in God’s image.
May we understand the difference.
There is a way of reading Scripture that begins with hierarchy. And there is a way of reading Scripture that begins with goodness.
If we begin in the wrong place, we will mistake the curse for God’s design.
Let’s dive in.
1. Adam Means Humanity.
In Book of Genesis 1, the Hebrew word “adam” is used. It is the same word translated “Adam” and “humanity.” English pivots between the individual Adam and the collective humanity, but the Hebrew does not. The text declares:
“So God created humanity (ha-adam) in God’s image… male and female God created them.” (Genesis 1:27)
The word is the same.
God does not first create a male as a complete and solitary ideal and then later decide to make a female as an afterthought. God creates humanity “adam” in the divine image. And this humanity is expressed as male and female together.
The image of God is not housed in maleness.
It is borne by humanity, “both male and female.”
To translate and preach this passage as though “Adam” means a gendered man alone is to miss the narrative arc before it even begins.
2. It’s not a rib, it’s a side, it’s a half.
In Genesis 2, we are told that God takes what English often translates as a “rib.” But the Hebrew word “tsela” is used throughout the Old Testament to mean “side” or “half.” Like the side of the ark, the side of the temple, and the side of a structure.
The imagery is not of a spare bone plucked from a superior body. It is of one whole being divided into two corresponding sides.
Humanity is formed. Then God takes from the human’s side and fashions woman. It is not good for “humanity” to be alone, without a distinctly other to be in relationship with. The poetic declaration that follows is not ownership but recognition:
“This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh.”
This is not hierarchy. It is kinship.
The narrative is showing us shared substance, shared dignity, and shared image.
Half male. Half female. One humanity.
3. Hierarchy is named as a curse, not a command.
The creation narrative in Book of Genesis 1–2 pulses with harmony: humanity with God, humanity with the earth and animals, man with woman.
Then comes rupture.
After the fall in Genesis 3, God describes one of the consequences of sin. To the woman, God says:
“Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.” (Genesis 3:16)
Notice what this is.
It is not a command.
It is not a design.
It is a description of the curse.
Just as toil, pain, and death are distortions of creation, so too is domination over others. We see this with Cain and Abel later on too.
When man is placed over woman, Scripture explicitly locates this in the fallout of sin. Hierarchy between the sexes enters the story as fracture, not as God’s blueprint.
Any theology that treats male rule as God’s ideal has begun its doctrine in Genesis 3 instead of Genesis 1.
4. Paul and the restoration of creation.
The apostle Paul echoes the restoration of this original vision. In Epistle to the Galatians 3:28, he writes:
“There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
Paul is not erasing embodiment. He is announcing that the divisions that once structured power no longer define worth or status in Christ. He is pointing back to Genesis 1, to shared image and shared inheritance.
When Paul addresses marriage in Epistle to the Ephesians 5, he begins not with wives, but with everyone:
“Submit yourselves one to another out of reverence for Christ.” (Ephesians 5:21)
He is talking about mutual submission, not women to men.
In a Roman world structured by rigid patriarchal household codes, Paul reframes authority through Christ’s self-giving love. Wives are to submit to their husbands and husbands are commanded to love as Christ loves, sacrificially, self-givingly, unto death. The model is not domination. It is cruciform love.
The call subverts empire-shaped patriarchy by making power look like surrender.
5. Jesus and the dignity of women.
Throughout the Gospels, Jesus speaks with women publicly, receives them as disciples, entrusts them with theological truth, and commissions them as witnesses to the resurrection. He does not subjugate women, he restores them.
Where culture silenced women, Jesus dignified them. Where religion marginalized women, Jesus welcomed them.
He does not reinforce the curse.
He embodies new creation.
So any theology that demands women be subjugated to men does not begin in Eden’s harmony. It begins in the fall. It mistakes the curse for the command.
It reads Genesis 3 as though it were Genesis 1.
It reads all of Scripture through the lens of patriarchy and then reads history and reality through the same distorted lens.
This corrosive theology has been used to justify the subjugation of women, to limit their leadership, silence their voices, curtail their independence, and deny their rights.
For the sake of our sisters.
For the sake of our daughters.
For the sake of our wives and mothers.
For the sake of women.
For the sake of humanity.
We must refuse any theology that would be weaponized against them.
God’s original design was not domination.
It was shared image. Shared calling. Shared glory.
May we have the courage to return to the beginning and to call the curse what it is.
A Christianity rooted in patriarchy will always define women first and foremost by their relationship to men.
A Christianity rooted in the gospel of Jesus will see women first and foremost as human beings created in God’s image.
May we understand the difference.
