AUGUSTINE CHURCH – Sunday’s 10am at the Beacher’s Lodge – 6970 A1A South, St. Augustine, FL 32080 in the banquet room. Everyone Welcome! Augustine Church along with her sister churches (Ponce Church & Ormond Church) share the same heart – helping others. Over sixteen years ago the Lord spoke to Pastor Nina’s husband Pastor Rick and asked him to open his Bible to Matthew 25. The Lord led him to verses 31-46 and said, “This is not a parable. This is not a story. This is going to take place one day. And in those verses Jesus speaks of his return and what he will be looking for in his people, his followers. King Jesus speaking, “…I was hungry and you fed me, thirsty and you gave me something to drink, naked and you clothed me, sick and in prison and you visited me, a stranger and you took me in (homeless and you gave me shelter). If you’ve done it to the least of these my brothers and sisters, you’ve done it to me.” This is the foundation of which we pastor all three churches. In our first book The Main Thing is filled with Bible teachings including many verses that teach us what it means to love our neighbor through doing good for others. It is what God ordained and “created (us) in Christ Jesus to do…” Ephesians 2:8-10 nlt.
Together Augustine Church, Ponce Church and Ormond Church are all active in their communities feeding the hungry and caring for the orphan. We endeavor to teach and equip others to live out the gospel as we see the early church in the book of Acts and Jesus teachings to love our neighbor.
The Legacy Housing Project is just one of the ways we love our neighbor by caring for the orphan. At Legacy House we provide a nurturing and stable home environment to equip young women aging out of the foster care system and to assist them to build their own life and bridge the gap between foster care and sustainable independence. At Legacy House we help prevent youth homelessness and trafficking. Join us Sunday’s 10am in the banquet room at Beacher’s Lodge in St. Augustine.
Sandals and shorts are always welcome! Also enjoy our fresh coffee and refreshments.
This is how we do Church.
We help people.
We teach people to help people.
We equip people to help people.
We offer opportunity for people to get out and help people.
If this sounds fun to you, you’re our kind of people
